The only requirement to complete an online application is a valid email address. You will also need to create a login and password. Once you submit the application, you will receive a confirmation email, and a member of the St. Ann office staff will follow up with you within two school days to discuss next steps.

St. Ann also offers a free, full-day UPK program for 4 year olds. To learn more about our program, please email upk@stannschoolnyc.org or contact our school office. The Department of Education's official profile of St. Ann's program can also be found here.

Unfortunately, the application deadline for the 2019-20 school year has passed. However you may join our waitlist here. The DOE code for St. Ann's full day program is: 04MAGNFDPK.

Requirements

There are age requirements and paperwork that must be submitted before your application is considered complete. In addition, we require a family interview and "shadow day" for each student.

Age qualifications for the 2019-20 school year:

  • PreK3:  Must be 3 years old by December 31, 2019

  • UPK:  Must be 4 years old by December 31, 2019

  • Kindergarten:  Must be 5 years old by December 31, 2019

Paperwork requirements:

  • Birth certificate or passport (to verify age)

  • Immunization record

  • For UPK:  must be a New York City resident

  • For grades K through 8:  teacher commentary or referral 

  • For grades 1 through 8:  prior report cards and standardized test scores

  • If applicable, current Individualized Education Program (IEP or IESP)

  • If Catholic, certificates of sacraments

  • If applying for scholarships, additional documentation will be required. More information on our scholarship program can be found here.

 

We do not inquire about the immigration status of any family for purposes of admissions or financial assistance.

After your child interviews and is accepted, we do require a non-refundable Registration Fee to hold the seat.
