Thank you for your support!

St. Ann, The Personal School currently serves a population that is 99% students of color and classified as 100% below the federal poverty line. Through the generosity of our donors, we are able to offer significant financial aid to our students and allow them to experience all that our award-winning school has to offer. We also use donations to provide all extracurricular activities 100% free to every family, and we also have a fundraising initiative underway to build a state-of-the-art STEAM lab.

We are so grateful to all our donors! Please explore the gallery below to see the variety of extracurricular and STEAM projects we have been able to support, or follow this link to read a heartfelt "thank you" from one of our parents whose daughter is on scholarship at St. Ann.

Advisory Board

The St. Ann School Advisory Board was founded in 1988 by Peter Flanigan and Tom Smith to support the school's mission to educate students in East Harlem. Since its founding, the Board has funded critical capital improvements and the school's extended day program.

Today, the Advisory Board continues to work closely with the St. Ann faculty, the Archdiocese of New York Department of Education, Champions for Quality Education, and Inner-City Scholarship Fund. The Advisory Board provides financial support and professional expertise in marketing, finance, and strategic planning. The Board meets formally four times per year, and members work between meetings on key projects. Recent initiatives include rebuilding the school website, writing grants, and funding a wide spectrum of extracurricular programs. In July 2018 the Advisory Board hosted a fundraiser to support STEAM curriculum for the students of St. Ann.

If you are interested in learning more about joining the Advisory Board or volunteering your professional skills for an ad hoc project, please contact Principal Teresa Letizia via email at or call 212.722.1295.
