Our Catholic school principals, staff, and faculty work tirelessly to instill a desire to learn and a determination to succeed in all our students, so it is with enthusiasm that I write to you with exciting news about the growth of Catholic education in East Harlem. Beginning in the 2020-21 academic year, St. Ann, The Personal School and St. Paul School will combine to form the Academy of St. Paul & St. Ann. This new Academy of St. Paul & St. Ann will bring together on one campus two amazing school communities poised to become the center for Catholic education in East Harlem. To do this, the Academy will be housed on the current campus of St. Paul School.
The Academy of St. Paul & St. Ann will provide new, exciting academic and program enhancement opportunities beyond what is currently offered to both student bodies. Currently, St. Ann has limitations in both classroom size and recreational space, while St. Paul has excellent outdoor play facilities and academic spaces and room for expansion. Bringing these two schools together ensures that all Academy students will continue to have access to a rigorous and personalized curriculum that includes a robust music and arts program, as well as a state-of-the-art science lab.

Your principal, Ms. Letizia, along with our Director of Enrollment, Ms. Bachmann, will be available to each individual family to answer any questions you may have to ensure your enrollment process continues as planned. In short, the personalized and dynamic education your child(ren) have been receiving at the 110th Street campus will continue without interruption as we bring these two exceptional Catholic schools together in September.
